One of the things you can do here is to cruise the Li River to Yangshuo. If you are interested in the minority culture you can spend some days at the Longji Rice Terraces. Here you can find tiered fields and experience the world of the Zhuang and Yao minorities.
If you want to see giant pandas, then you should visit Chengdu. In Chengdu you also get to taste great cuisine like the Spicy Sichuan hotpot.
The number of days you will stay in China should be decided on next. Staying in a China for a week is ideal if you just don’t want to scratch China’s surface.
You should know about the visa policy in China and the gateway cities. For international flights, you can go to gateway cities like Beijing and Shanghai. But there are those who would travel via HongKong.
One of your considerations should be the best time to travel to China. You can visit China’s cultural and historical attractions all year round. The things to do in these regions are not affected by the seasons. It is during spring and autumn or from April to October that you can best and the most comfortable time to go to China.
